EDDY PETTYBOURNE
About Eddy
Eddy was born in Christchurch, New Zealand. He represented Australia at schoolboy level in 2005 and made his NRL debut for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2007.
Eddy played for the Rabbitohs for the next three years, playing in over 20 games in both 2011 and 2012. He played in all 3 semifinals in 2012, with the club finishing one game short of the grand final. In 2013, he moved to Wests Tigers to be better able to support his family. He stayed there for 1 season before taking up an opportunity at Wigan Warriors in the UK. In 2015, he moved to the Gold Coast and played for the Titans for 3 years. He has recently signed a 2 year contract with French club Toulouse until the end of 2019.
Eddy has been selected to play for 3 countries at a representative level; New Zealand, Samoa and USA. He recently played for the USA at the 2017 World Cup and was a part of the incredible Quarter Final appearance of the USA team at the 2013 World Cup.
